Not all LED neon lights have to be wall‑mounted!
Traditional wall‑mounted neon lights come with obvious drawbacks:
✅ Fixed position, cannot move along with your displays
✅ Requires wall space for installation; complicated mounting & removal
✅ Limited viewing angle, no multi‑angle display
✅ High costs for layout modification and re‑adjustment

To solve these pain points, ARMOR has developed this new product:
🎯Freestanding & Movable LED Neon Light

Different from conventional neon lights.
✅️No wall required, no drilling needed.
✅️Vertical freestanding structure, place it independently and move it anytime.
✅️Easy installation and disassembly, saving labor and material costs.

Your display can move. Your neon can too.

Traditional wall-mounted LED neon is designed around a fixed installation point.

ARMOR’s freestanding LED neon solution takes a different approach: place it independently in the space, reposition it when the layout changes, and adjust its orientation without being tied to a wall or pole.

Less dependence on the installation.
More freedom for the display.

The LEDs and resistors are already sitting on the PCB.

Finished?

Not yet.

After solder paste application and SMT placement, the board still has to pass through **reflow soldering**.

Placement puts the components in the correct positions.

Reflow is the high-temperature heating stage that follows and fixes them onto the PCB.

The sequence is simple:

Solder paste
→ SMT placement
→ Reflow soldering
→ Components fixed to the PCB

The key difference to remember:

**Placement puts them in place.
Reflow fixes them to the board.**

This video shows that reflow stage on ARMOR's SMT line.

Quality control does not have to start at final assembly.

ARMOR keeps LED packaging within its manufacturing operation. In this factory walkthrough, Lisa shows where the chip is placed, how the internal circuit is bonded, and one material used on the line: pure gold wire with purity above 99.99%.

The point is bigger than the wire itself. Buyers can see where ARMOR’s control of materials and process begins.

COB is a literal name: Chip on Board.

This video shows what that means on ARMOR’s LED strip line. LED chips are placed directly onto the PCB, then resistor components are placed on the board.

Lisa sums up the light-source idea in one line: points of light to a line of light.

If COB is on your product checklist, ask one more question: where is the chip mounted?

What happens after the LEDs and resistors are placed on a PCB?

The board still needs to go through reflow soldering.

In the SMT process, solder paste is printed first. Then the placement machine positions the components on the PCB. Reflow comes next: a high-temperature heating stage that fixes those components onto the board.

A simple way to remember it:

Placement = position.
Reflow = fixation to the PCB.

This video shows the reflow stage on ARMOR's SMT line.

So when you see an SMT placement machine putting components onto a board, remember: that is not the end of the process. Reflow is the next step.

An LCD next to a product gives digital content a very specific address. That is useful only when the content belongs there.

A short demonstration or promotion can make sense at the shelf. A generic ad designed for another channel may not. This clip shows the display itself; the retail-media plan still has to define what the screen should communicate at that location.

Where should in-store retail media create the most value: entrance, aisle, shelf or checkout? https://www.armorlighting.com

If your store already uses electronic shelf labels, adding LCD shelf displays may sound like duplication. But the two formats can be assigned different jobs. E-paper ESLs commonly handle prices and relatively static product information. LCD shelf displays can be added at selected positions that need product video, campaign visuals, or more detailed messaging.

The decision that matters for your store is which products, campaigns, or shelf positions need richer content. That's the mix worth planning — not a replacement of one technology by the other.

Why install a shelf display that communicates in only one direction?

On a double-sided retail shelf, one product row faces the front and another faces the back. A dual-sided LCD shelf display can serve both:

- Front screen: pricing and marketing content for the front row
- Rear screen: pricing and marketing content for the row behind it

One display position. Two screens. Two product-facing directions.

The model shown here also supports hot-plug and modular installation.

After curing, LED beads carry a wide color temperature spread, so ARMOR sorts them: every bead is tested individually, binned by color temperature, then tested a second time before being wound into reels.

Those reels are sold to other manufacturers or placed on our own SMT line.

Bin counts, tolerance, and color temperature ranges vary by product. Ask us for the specification that applies to your LED.
