NetDragon, together with its subsidiary, EDA Thailand, has joined forces to drive a government-backed AI initiative aimed at building Thailand’s future-ready workforce by linking education, skills development, and productivity through an AI-driven Learn-to-Career Ecosystem. Unveiled in Bangkok, the collaboration reflects a growing policy-led push to position AI not merely as an educational tool, but as a core engine for workforce readiness, economic competitiveness, and long-term productivity across industries.

By combining EDA Thailand’s role as a local ecosystem builder with NetDragon’s global expertise in AI-powered learning platforms and digital talent systems, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was formally signed, with policy support from Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The collaboration focuses on jointly developing AI-enabled learning platforms, competency measurement frameworks, and career linkage mechanisms designed to prepare Thai talent for real-world workforce demand, while creating a more equitable and efficient talent-matching environment for SMEs and establishing a scalable model for the region.

NetDragon Donates HK$5 Million and Collaborates with IT Sector to Provide Technical Support for Hong Kong’s Fire Relief

A level-five fire broke out at Wang F*k Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong on November 26, drawing widespread concern across the country. In response, NetDragon has donated HK$5 million to support emergency relief for affected residents — including medical assistance, temporary housing, essential supplies, and reconstruction efforts.

NetDragon has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Open University Malaysia (“OUM”) in Fuzhou, Changle. This collaboration marks a major step forward in integrating the strengths of both parties in open education and digital technology to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can be applied more deeply in education. The collaboration will explore several strategic areas, including AI-driven digital content innovation, advanced technology certification and laboratory development, skills enhancement, and curriculum development, as well as the construction of a comprehensive digital education ecosystem.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Simon Leung, Vice Chairman of NetDragon, and Prof. Datin Dr. Santhi Raghavan, Vice President/Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Learner Experience and Technology) of OUM. Recently, John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, led a delegation to visit NetDragon. The 25th session of UNESCO IITE Governing Board was recently held in Paris. Dr. Liu Dejian, Chairman of NetDragon, as the only board member with an entrepreneurial background, delivered his speech via a digital avatar. Dr. Liu showcased NetDragon’s achievements in AI+ Education, particularly the “E-library for Teachers” jointly developed with UNESCO IITE, which has integrated more than 400 open educational resources and offers 39 certified courses. We maintained stable operations despite temporary challenges in the first half of 2025. The gaming business advanced its ex*****on under the established ‘Evergreen Operation Plan’. While this led to short-term revenue fluctuations, gaming performance has now stabilised, showing only a marginal HoH decline in revenue. Meanwhile, Mynd.ai business was affected by external factors including increased tariffs and softening demand in its key markets. While challenges persist, our efforts to streamline operations and enhance cost efficiency have resulted in a 15.6% YoY reduction in the Company’s operating expenses with full impact anticipated in the second half of 2025 and beyond, paving the way for future profitability.

We are confident in our long-term sustainable growth and value-creation potential. With solid results from multiple strategic investments and robust cash reserves, we are well positioned to further our commitment of enhancing shareholder returns. The Board of Directors has approved an interim dividend of HKD0.5 per ordinary share, representing an increase of 25% YoY, and a distribution of no less than HKD600 million to our shareholders over the next 12 months through a combination of dividend payments and share repurchases (Shareholder Return Program).
