Does the panel artwork show what the operator will actually see after installation?

A labeling review should connect the graphic file to the mechanical drawing. Check the viewing direction, port names, connector positions and the orientation of the finished equipment. If a product has several interface variants, confirm which artwork belongs to each panel version.

Can your PCB reach its final position without removing a connector or disturbing a cable?

That question is useful when comparing one-piece and split aluminum enclosure structures. The internal envelope is only one part of the review. The assembly route also deserves attention: where the board enters, when cables are connected, and whether tools can reach the fasteners.

For an engineering review, add a simple assembly sequence to the enclosure drawing. Show the board before insertion, during installation and in its final position. Flag tall components, attached cables and any connections that must be made after the board is secured.
