Before a new LED strip order goes into production, our engineers always start with one simple step:

First Article Testing.

This week we ran the first sample for a new LED strip order on the line.
Before approving mass production, the team checks several key points:

• PCB and soldering quality
• LED bin consistency (CCT & brightness)
• Power consumption and current stability
• Light output and uniformity
• Cutting accuracy
• Initial aging test

Sometimes everything passes smoothly.
Sometimes we stop the line, adjust parameters, and run it again.

It’s a small step in the production process,
but it makes a big difference for long-term reliability.

Good lighting products don’t just come from good materials —
they come from careful testing from the very first strip.

A LED strip may look simple.
Just LEDs on a flexible PCB, right?

But before a strip reaches a customer’s project, it usually goes through multiple rounds of testing on the production line.

Here’s what a typical day looks like in our factory.

First comes First Article Testing.
Before mass production starts, the first strip off the line is checked carefully: soldering quality, LED bin consistency, power consumption, and light output. If anything looks off, we stop and adjust immediately.

Once production begins, in-line inspections follow.
Our team checks PCB quality, LED placement, brightness consistency, and cutting accuracy while the strips are being produced.

Then comes finished product testing.
Every batch is verified again for voltage, current, and lighting performance to make sure it matches the specification.

And finally, the step many people don’t see: aging test.
The strips stay powered on for hours to simulate real working conditions and make sure stability is there before shipment.

It may sound like a lot for a “simple” product.

But in lighting, reliability is built step by step —
from the first strip on the line to the last reel packed in the carton.
