Swiss Cyber Security Conference Swiss Cyber Storm
will host keynote speakers in the field of anticipation, prevention and mitigation for National Cyber Threats.

systems and protection of critical national infrastructures. Chair of MELANI, Pascal Lamia, confirmed the MELANI
patronage with Swiss Cyber Storm, together with the patronage of the Swiss Police ICT association. First; The lecturing part of the conference will give decision mak

ers of critical infrastructures latest information about
National Cyber Security. This information is not only essential for criticial infrastructures - because APT and cyber
threats are not stopping from attacking other industry sectors. The conference is the place to meet for professional
cyber security specialists and decision makers in general. Second; SCS organizes an online qualifying cyber challenge competition. The best
security talents will then being invited to the final round at the SCS conference in Lucerne, where the finalists
must proof their skills and social competence. The finalists will than have the option to team up the Swiss delegation
for the European Cyber Security Challenge.

Announcing the speakers for Swiss Cyber Storm 2021 - "Securing the Supply Chain":

Philipp Amann is the head of Strategy of the European Cyber Crime Center at Europol. In this role he coordinates international cooperation against organised crime, a cooperation that involves Switzerland in a leading role in the Joint Cybercrime Action Taskforce. In his presentation he will tell us about this international cooperation and the Emotet case.

The detailed schedule for the Swiss Cyber Storm 2021 conference – focusing on the topic “Securing the Supply Chain” – is now online.

Join us on October 12 in Kursaal Bern and listen to exciting speakers like Wendy Nather who will open the conference with her keynote showing the security issues the supply chain faces today. Or Dr.-Ing. Mario Heiderich of XSS fame, who will deliver the closing keynote looking into the near future of IT security. In between you will hear from specialists such as Philipp Amann, Head of Strategy of the European Cyber Crime Center at Europol. He will tell us about the international cooperation against the organized (cyber) crime in general and the Emotet case in particular. And from Jarrod Overson who keeps a close eye on how criminals perform credential stuffing in the wild these days: on a scale and in high speed!
