"Wild Flowers"
Aanii kina wiiyaa, I would like to address some of the backlash going around about some of my newer illustration and artwork.

First and foremost I would like to say I am an Anishinaabe kwe from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory
Secondly everyone is entitled to have their own feelings and opinions but I would like to address specific vernacular used when addressing my artwork or my business I am not or will I ever be "Exploiting our Anishinaabe kwe"
I take great pride in showcasing who we are and the beauty of everything around me. Our bodies are not to be shamed but celebrated, this piece of art work is meant to represent the free sense of feeling when connecting to the land in a feminine empowering way.
