What a great weekend! See you again for Fall Fury in September!
The sun has set on the Flatlanders CAN/AM CLASH!
This was the first international invitational that has been hosted by the track, and we're incredibly proud of the weekend. There are countless people to thank to make such a show possible:
Thank you to the drivers, both near and far. We appreciate everyone who loaded up and hauled to our little track in the prairies, with over 60 cars running this weekend there was some incredible action. It means the world to our club and our facility to have the support of drivers from Edmonton, Saskatoon, Drumheller, Redcliffe, and especially from Billings and other towns south of the border. We hope everyone joins us for the biggest show of the year, FALL FURY, September 26-27!
Thank you to SaskMilk for supporting our Legen-Dairy Legends and making the international invitational possible. Our 🇺🇸 friends got to taste (and then wear) some 🇨🇦 dairy in victory lane and gave it a huge thumbs up. The legends will be back at FALL FURY!
Thank you to Laurie Robbie for all the work he puts into making that Flatlanders surface. We're so greatful for your dedication to the facility and the incredible racing surface that your hours of work produces!
Thank you to Flagman Matt for another weekend having to make tough, split second thankless decisions. Even though the view from the tower is great, it's a difficult job and we appreciate having someone consistent who communicates and keeps our drivers safe in that hot seat. Also: thank you for sharing your tower with sight seeing Americans and the Flatlanders social media team!
Thank you to the Hankewich family. They do an unbelievable amount of work behind the scenes to organize and run race weekends at Flatlanders, with family members doing everything from sponsorship collection to organizing volunteers, manning the b**r gardens, helping with security, working linups/points, and so much more.
Thank you to Mustang Safety Services Ltd. for supplying a medic this weekend to keep our drivers safe. Even though no drivers needed medical attention this weekend, we appreciate the time that goes into having dedicated infield staff!
Thank you to Touchdown Towing & Storage for running the tow truck for the weekend, keeping the track clear and the show moving any time there was a racing incident!
Thank you to all of the workers who kept the wheels turning this weekend, all the way from the front gate to the back gate!
Thank you to the minisprint families for organizing and keeping our youngest stars turning laps. We appreciate all the time and effort that goes into the track within the track, and everything it takes to keep the carts moving!
Thank you to all of the photographers and media people for covering our event. We are incredibly proud to have MH Bella Photography on site doing photography for the Flatlanders website. Oz Creative and Shutter Speedway were both out, camera in hand. We were visited by Axel's Racing Photos for the weekend, he has already posted many of the weekends winners, keep an eye on his youtube page for video of the weekend! West Central Online has covered all of our events this year, and of course we had the TV crew from Sasktel Max out to cover the show!
Thank you to Caydence for the delicious baked goods for sale this weekend! Her cookies are worth the trip to the track all on their own!
Thank you to all of the fans who came out to support another phenomenal weekend of racing. Seeing those faces in the crowd makes all that hard work so incredibly worth it! We'll see you at FALL FURY!!
