Jumping on this fun design trend from .now . ✌🏼

A collection of logomarks I’ve designed throughout the years. This was such a nice little walk down memory lane. (Ps. If your logo didn’t make the cut, I promise it’s not because it’s not sexy…I had to make some hard cuts 🥲.) I also have a handful of exciting new brands that I reeeeally wanted to add, but they’re not officially launched yet, so you’ll have to be brave and wait. 😘

Ooh a sleek new branding project you say? Well don’t mind if I do. 💅🏼

Lasko was looking for a rebrand to connect with their high-end west coast clientele. I used earthy forest tones, highlighted by a rich woody orange. 🍊 They wanted the logo to be impactful and different on a “for sale” sign. I think I hit the mark (unbiased opinion.) The brand also features a branded copper metallic print option, which will catch the light beautifully both in the daytime and at night. ✨

Sometimes you don’t know what random design niches you’ll end up in. Weirdly enough I’ve designed several logos for local minor hockey teams! Had a good time creating this one for 🏒

These are always a fun challenge because sports logos always tend towards “more is more” while my usual style is “less is more.” I had fun playing with this one and adding layers of depth and shadow, but still maintaining legibility and usage flexibility with applications such as embroidery and small scale print. Logos like these are also a challenge because every curve and angle has to be jussssst right. One thing off and it’s very obvious.

I created 2 logo variations for them - one with full text, and one just with their iconic “C.” Both are recognizable and tie together perfectly imo.

It was an absolute honour to work on this logo for the a few years ago. I loved diving deep into the culture, beautiful art, and traditions of the Métis people. The logo is based on an Octopus bag.

“Octopus bags, named for their eight legs, are a beautiful representation of love. These bags were made by Métis women as gifts for their husbands at the beginning of their marriage. Tucked into a woven sash or suspended from a shoulder strap, these bags were an essential part of a Métis man’s outfit. Octopus bags held to***co, tinder, a personal pipe, and all the essential tools for being on the land. The construction of these bags has ties dating back to 1590, and they were at the height of fashion in the 1840s with the design spreading from the Red River to the Pacific Ocean. Octopus bags are still made and worn today.” -Coral Madge

Check up this zippy logo I created for Novametra. Their marketing is all online, so I was really able to lean into bright energetic colours without worrying about losing intensity in print (or forcing them to print with Pantone for everything.)

A ✨magical✨ brand has dropped!

It was an absolute pleasure creating this new brand for . They wanted something inclusive and welcoming that connects with the magic and wonder of childbirth. We used rich colours from the night sky, and a starry gold. The stars are all hand drawn and imperfect to create a gentle and connective energy.

It was so special to create a brand that will help bring new life into the world! 💫 👶🏼

Yahooo! The signage and window decals for have gone in! Looking so freshhhh 😮‍💨

They’ve leaned right into their with signage, wall paint using their brand colours, merch, branded interior recommendations (eg their sexy new front desk,) and more!

Let’s talk brand umbrellas! ☔️

Sometimes brand strategy needs to be zoomed out to see the bigger picture. I have often worked with companies who have a main parent brand, and multiple or one sub brand. There’s many ways to tie them together, including colours, graphic shapes, fonts, graphics, images, sharpness of lines and corners, and copy. Deciding which of these to implement is the fun part of building a cohesive brand family - while making sure each maintains its own unique and memorable visual identity.

I have staggered images from the Insight and Integrity brands as an example. 😊
