This week I'm doing my own year-end books. In Odoo. Myself.

First full fiscal year - subscriptions, bank fees, card paydowns, shareholder funding. Every line reconciled. Trial balance balanced. Suspense: zero.

I'm not an accountant. I'm trained in economics and finance - I learned the bookkeeping plumbing this week, one concept at a time, from a blank screen.

Why do it myself? Because this is the workflow I'm building Go-X on: the client runs the books, the accountant logs in. No spreadsheet handoffs, no shoebox of receipts - my accountant is already inside the system.

Did the full data entry today - Saturday. Clean books, then the T2 gets filed.

Building in public: the business runs on what I can do, not what I can pitch.
