Tool: Digital
Method: Traditional

Every layer of line work and texture is illustrated the same way it would be on paper, just with amplified contrast and endless zoom ins. Digital doesn’t mean effortless. It’s still patience, precision and hours dedicated to the details ✍🏾

🚫 instant fix. 🚫 perfect prompt… Just raw time, craft and intent fused with every stroke.

I’ve always been fascinated by anatomy and the way form itself can tell a story, if not an evolution of life form.

This project became the perfect opportunity to showcase how uniquely creative us as individuals can be, how we can interpret information and produce different ideas and results 💭

My first collaborative mural project was an unforgettable experience 👍🏾

From the moment I was brought in by , everything moved in a quick burst of energy. Coming up with the concept wasn’t too difficult and neither was the ex*****on, but the overall experience felt incredibly refreshing. Working with traditional media on a scale much larger than usual was both fun and challenging in the best way ✨

It pushed me to focus on details while constantly stepping back to see the bigger picture, use more than just wrist movement, explore different colour combinations and step outside of my comfort zone creatively 🎨

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I learnt a lot through this experience, and it truly felt like a trip down a positive memory lane.

From initial sketch to the final send-off… this project has been quite a journey. So much feeling, valuable lessons learnt along the way and I’m truly grateful for going through it.

Thank you to for the inspiration,
for lending me the space, for filming 🎥 and providing constructive advices for the video, peeps that had pushed and encouraged me when in doubt, and to everyone who has been supporting me along the way 🔥

👉🏾👉🏾 There are no one absolute outcome to measure how good a piece of art is. When you spend countless of hours and effort into what you do, it is tremendously satisfying to witness positive impact on the receiving end.

It has been particularly fulfilling to see their heart-felt reactions and sometimes, that’s all it takes to recharge an artist ✨

Once again, massive thank you 🙏🏾

Never been to any fashion show in my life and have no idea what to expect.

Real time art process, live music, active dance floor… was such a fun Friday night! Which made me think…

The idea of putting art into a real time competition has been a bit controversial for me personally, as I always think good art should not be defined under intentionally rushing settings. Quality and value often comes with decent amount of time and effort.

However after this event, it kind of reintroduced a very important aspect of making art, which is… to simply have fun during the process ✨

If you look at the competition with the tunnel vision to win, that’s understandable. But whenever you win, the external validation just doesn’t encourage you to grow. In contrast, when you apply the expectation of learning, testing your skills to the limit and attempt to have fun during the process, that is more admirable in my opinion. We often focus so much on the current fight, we forget the constant hurdle that is to come.

What a successful night , organized by the phenomenal Seen few familiar faces, with skillful and talented artists showing off their creative vision. That is part of the reason why I love working in this industry, ways to grow as an artist are truly limitless.

The past weekend has been full on, but incredibly inspiring ✨

Stopped by the Spring Bazaar and instantly felt the warmth of the community atmosphere. Familiar faces, handmade works, conversations buzzing through the space like a little creative heartbeat.

Later headed to .art.collective opening in Surrey to support a few artist mates showcasing their work. Seeing authentic, traditional art up close reminded me how powerful honest craftsmanship can be. It genuinely reignited my motivation to create more traditional pieces myself.

One thing I keep realising is that we naturally absorb the energy around us. When we surround ourselves with positive people, meaningful events, and inspiring creativity, it pushes us to grow in the same direction too. That kind of influence makes the world feel brighter ☀️

This past weekend has been hectic but full of unexpected emotions!

One of them is to finally get to see our mural being displayed at 🙌🏾

Growing up in Hong Kong with my childhood, I have not encountered many creatives or people who are passionate about making art. So naturally, the very first time collaborating with few artists in this scale, convos we have and memories we have shared has been a refreshing experience to me.

From getting the concept refined to working alongside with everyone, bantering about our childhood under tight deadline, just makes the process feeling more nostalgic and enjoyable.

Massive thanks to for including me, fellow artists .k_a_e .illust , and for accommodating us and let us on a journey back to the neon memory lane 🙏🏾
WIP dropping soon!

Not everything makes it into the final cut.

A few moments from filming… the setup, the pauses, the in-between.

Grateful to have captured this project in such a thoughtful space.
