The brief: nothing generic, avoid spa-like vibes, warmth with forward momentum and a touch of levity. The name LISAN was proposed for Lisa’s clinical counselling practice—a purposeful alternative to a standard clinician-name practice. Discovering the word “lisan” felt like serendipity—it’s an Arabic word for “tongue/language,” a homophone of “listen,” and readable as “Lisa N.”

A typographic decision (LISA in caps + small‑cap n) seeded the brandmark: a stacked L + n suggesting a chair—an emblem of the therapist’s seat and an invitation to sit together. From that grew the tagline “Let’s Sit Together” and imagery of shoes to represent the many people who come to Lisa.

The result is a cohesive visual identity that signals intention and feels inevitably meant-to-be.
