We love getting to collab&create in a space that is so deeply rooted in teaching game development and digital design!

One month away till the game jam! Are you ready yet?

If you want to join an on-site event but are nervous about finding a team, don’t sweat! We form the teams for you so you can just show up and create. Since we don’t get many of these in Vancouver, it’s the perfect chance to step away from the screen, get industry mentorship, and meet future collaborators face-to-face.

We welcome back Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia as supporters for the Checkpoint! Their support through the Domestic Initiatives Program is something to behold, and we are grateful for them as partners to support our growth into 2026 (more on that later)!

Creative BC sustains and grows British Columbia’s creative industries, including interactive and digital media as an independent, Province-supported agency. The organization’s programs and services are vital for expanding B.C.’s creative economy.

So grateful for the commitment shown to supporting the Vancouver game dev space.
