Holding two realities at once here in Bali… the beauty, softness, and love of this island, while also carrying the heaviness of watching your homeland ache from afar.

This poem poured out of me a few days ago while sitting inside that contrast: gratitude and grief, privilege and helplessness, beauty and heartbreak.

It’s hard to wish for anything other than peace these days.

Praying for more grace, more compassion, and more humanity as we move through these dark times.

People often assume I have it all figured out. That part honestly makes me laugh. 😂
I’m just a girl moving through her own very human evolution, with plenty of plot twists. And really, if we had it all figured out, wouldn’t life be incredibly boring? Isn’t the not-knowing kind of the point?

These lessons are ones I’ve picked up along the way, often the hard way. They feel like little rememberings to me. My soul slowly finding her way back to herself, and learning to show up a bit more real each day.

Most of these came through over the past few years.

Navigating a divorce and the path to forgiveness, stepping off the societal success path, starting businesses, becoming a nomad, living across cultures, and trying to find meaning and belonging tends to do that to you. It either makes you wiser, or at least more honest.

I’m mostly documenting these for myself.
But maybe, one of them can be a small light on your own journey of becoming.

If you feel called, I’d love to know which one resonates with you the most.

A year of becoming ✨
This 2026 art calendar brings together “Inner Bloom” and “Through the Veil”: two of my art collections exploring themes of renewal, intuition, and transformation.

A quiet dance between what’s seen and what’s felt.

Each month includes a gentle affirmation to ground you and bring you back to yourself.

Print it at home or use it as your screensaver or desktop background, a simple visual ritual for the year ahead 🌿

The musing above has been circling in me for weeks, ready to take flight, as my perspective on fate and free will keeps unfolding.

True freedom is mental.

It’s the quiet power of knowing you can always meet life differently, reshape your path, rewrite your fate.

Shakespeare said it best: “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”

You are never the victim—you are always the one holding the pen.

I’ve been feeling really inspired by Persian poetry lately… thinking about how poets like Rumi, Saadi, and Khayyam were able to use the art of poetry to express their spiritual inklings and emotions. Things that are often so hard to put into words otherwise.

And how the impact of their words has lasted for hundreds of years. Still relevant. Still shaping the culture and worldview of an entire society.

The inspiration to use poetry to explore my own spiritual thoughts, and the irony of wondering if all of what we assign as “life” is actually poetry, is what poured out into the piece above.

The digital painting is of a swirling dervish. I created it during my last visit to Konya, the birthplace of Rumi. I was moved by the energy of that place. There’s something about the motion of the whirling dance. A sacred turning inward while spinning outward. It felt like the right image to hold the spirit of this poem.

For every woman who had to be twice as good to get the job— only for others to brush off her accomplishment as being hired to fill a diversity quota.

For every girl who felt she couldn’t—because she never saw another woman who did.

For the ones called too emotional, too ambitious, too much—and kept showing up anyway.

For the women who made it to the table
only to find the seats weren’t made for them.

For those who shattered glass ceilings
and were still asked to sweep up the shards.

For the girls still dreaming.

For the ones building rockets—not just riding them.

This is for you.

You are not invisible.
You are not alone.
I’m sending you so much love for your path.

[Announcement] It’s no secret around here that my passion for the environment runs deep. I’ve been an environmentalist for as long as I can remember, and over the past few years, as I’ve been shedding the skin of societal expectations and stepping more into alignment with my heart and soul, it’s been showing up more and more in everything I do—from my own art practice to the projects I take on under .ca . It’s such a genuine passion that it takes almost no effort to express.

It baffles me how little attention we give to our one and only home—and the more I research and learn, the more I wonder why we don’t all drop everything and prioritize this. After all, what does anything else matter if we don’t have a planet?

The more I’ve allowed this to flow out of me, the more I’ve received—encouragement, invitations to art projects, environmental campaigns, and recently, opportunities to speak at events. I love art for its soft power. It’s a universal language—a gentle, beautiful approach that invites people in. I’ve seen how receptive people become after seeing an artwork vs. the hard messaging of “we’re all doomed.”

In the words of Mandela: education can change the world. So my environmental efforts have been rooted in education and storytelling through art. And while I love what I do, a part of me—my engineering side—has been aching to build solutions.

So a few months ago, I started working on a tech idea I’ve had for over 5 years. I spoke it into the world, and the universe started responding. Encouragement, support, and even early investment offers started showing up. We got into , Canada’s top accelerator for AI startups. Our team is growing, important conversations are being had, and Retide was born.

Our mission is to better understand our oceans and provide solutions to bring harmony back to them using the power of AI and robotics.

Oceans cover 70% of our planet, and it’s wild how little we know about them. They’re also the biggest carbon sink—not forests. The more we learn, the more I can educate and use storytelling through art to raise awareness.

If you’re as excited as I am follow .earth to join the journey. 🌊🎉
