Really proud to have had the opportunity to produce these launch event magazines for the and their new Black Youth Fund initiative.

Seeing a project like this come to life from design to print is always meaningful, but this one hits a little different knowing it’s connected to creating opportunities for Black youth across Ontario. The Black Youth Fund is supporting Black youth-led projects and initiatives with funding of up to $100,000, helping empower young leaders, creators, entrepreneurs, and community builders to bring their ideas to life.

Huge thank you to the Laidlaw Foundation for trusting Black Print Studios with the production of these pieces for such an important launch. It’s always appreciated being able to contribute to projects that create real impact within the community.

I started Black Print Studios when I was 19.
Not with a full plan… honestly, just trying to pass a class.

Over time, it turned into something bigger than I expected.

For me is bigger than printing. It’s about the people behind the printing. The small businesses getting started, the students figuring things out, and the moments that don’t show up on an invoice but actually matter.
