Some clients become so much more than clients.
Over 20 years ago, Trish Scott from Incrediball 'The Core Store' in Fort Langley became one of my very first web design clients. Looking back, I never imagined that two decades later we'd still be working together, sharing ideas, planning marketing strategies over coffee, and catching up on life. Along the way, she became a wonderful friend.
On June 30, Trish officially closed the doors to The Core Store and began a well-deserved retirement. While our friendship will continue, it will be bittersweet to watch the window graphics and signs I designed over the years come down. They represented not just a business, but a place that welcomed so many people and became part of the heart of Fort Langley.
Trish, thank you for your dedication, kindness, and the incredible impact you've had on our community. You've helped countless people move better, feel better, and live better. Your store was more than a shoe store; it was a gathering place, a trusted resource, and a true Fort Langley institution.
Congratulations on this exciting new chapter. You have certainly earned it! Wishing you endless adventures, relaxation, and time to enjoy everything you've worked so hard for.
And while this chapter closes, another one begins.
I'm excited to share that you'll still be able to find kybun and Joya shoes in Fort Langley! My newest client, The Gardening Circle, is creating a dedicated kybun and Joya display and boutique within their store. It's a wonderful new home for these amazing shoes, and I look forward to helping them grow this exciting addition.
