(Except for my limbs and organs... those are not for sale...) I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta to a family of artists where our marks in Art were far more important than if we were failing math. I grew up in a world where having an extensive craft room, with cupboards stocked with everything from moulding clay to peacock feathers was a norm. Just check the cupboard. Jar of keys? Knitting
needles? We had it all. It was like Ariel’s cave, but the art version - “look at this stuff, isn’t it neat…”. Needless to say, creativity is a huge part of who I am, and not just cause there are probably sparkles in my blood stream. In my younger years, I attended a performing arts school for junior high and high school (some of the best years of my life), and in 2009 I moved to Toronto to attend Ryerson University. In 2013 Graduated with my Bachelor Of Fine Arts in Photography. I have been living in Toronto ever since pursuing my passions and dreams. I have a love and passion for working with the homeless and addicts as well as working with kids- they just keep life real. I love Jesus with my whole heart and I also love to tap dance, knit, paint, make jewellery and all kinds of cards and crafts; and I travel with my paper cutter (seriously- what if you have to cut a straight line!? It’s important… I also named my paper cutter Carl.) I love immersing my life in all areas of creativity. But above all else, my most favourite creative skill is to love people. And the vulnerability of that is the most worth while creative risk we can ever take. I believe that life is full of beauty and possibilities, that it's the little things in life that can bring the greatest joy and that every single human is the most precious creation that ever was. I love being a creative being and sharing that with the world in whatever way I can.
