Reigniting your passion doesn't have to take thousands of dollars and tons of self-doubt. It can happen this week...

I see this moment all the time with women who’ve been successful in their work for a long time already:

You’re credible, respected, really freaking good at what you do (and everyone knows it).

And still… something feels flat.

Nothing's really wrong, but lately nothing feels exactly right either and you're unsettled and teetering on the edge of straight up uninspired, and frankly, you're over being in the rut.

If you’ve been feeling that itch to expand your work and bring more of you into how you show up when you talk about it, I can tell you after 8+ years of working with women in the exact same place, that the solution probably isn’t about starting over.

Here are 7 super practical things you can do this week to move from just credible to credible and compelling (in literally the next 7 days).

1. Meet a friend for coffee and riff about what actually excites you about your work right now. Then ask her to rephrase the core thing she heard you say. That language often hints at your most compelling messaging.

2. Go through your closet and remove anything that doesn’t fit or never really felt like you, not because it’s unprofessional, but because your nervous system knows when you hate your outfit (and showing up is hard enough as it is, honestly).

3. Make a Pinterest board or messy collage of things you love. Art, sayings, colours, outfits, rooms, recipes, anything. Step back and look for patterns in how it feels, and find ways to incorporate those themes in your work and your marketing.

4. Rewrite one bio, intro, or “what I do” paragraph the way you’d explain it to a woman you genuinely like. No industry jargon allowed. Trust your self-expression. You've got this.

5. Attend a class, workshop, or event you’ve always wanted to try and never did. Go for yourself, not to network. Make a friend without talking about work and notice what parts of you come back online while you go offline.

6. Join the Brand Therapy membership so you can make space in your body and your brain to come home and remember what it feels like to embody and live your message and your mission instead of just promoting it all the time. (I'll link more details here if you want them.)

7. Record yourself talking about the moment that reminded you why you do this work, or changed how you do it. Don’t post it, just listen back and notice what sounds most, well, like you and write it down, because that’s information you can really work with.

And remember that you don’t need to abandon professionalism to be compelling, but you will need to let more of your true self bleed into your capable, confident, corporate (probably confused) work-self.

If one of these ideas made you pause, that’s probably not an accident. Once you try a few, drop a comment and let me know how it went!

Everyone says "build a brand that feels like you" and "people buy from people they know, like, and trust", but what happens when you try to be yourself and something feels... stuck?

That's why I call myself the Brand Therapist.

Just marketing strategy isn't going to solve a self-doubt issue.

Just inner work isn't going to solve an inconsistent brand presence.

And just encouragement from a friend isn't going to help you figure out what to do next time.

I bring years of psychology, nervous system work, inner healing expertise, marketing strategy, social media planning, and in-person brand building to my private coaching sessions so that my clients leave feeling like Hilary did:

At peace with being yourself without holding back, and trusting your intuition, initiative, and expertise as you step into the next level.

HOW IT WORKS ⬇️

1. Application & Alignment
You feel called to apply with me and we book your first session. As I prepare, I get to know you and start making sense of your story so we both come in ready for momentum.

2. Uncover Your Voice
After a lifetime of being capable and reliable, something is shifting in you and you're ready to say things the way the are to you. So we figure out how. During your first session, you finally have the words you've been looking for.

3. Strategize Your Story
We sketch out how you'd like to approach an action plan for your upcoming sessions. Over the coming weeks, the authenticity we've unlocked will become messaging, keynote presentations, a refreshed style guide for your closet, social media posts, or whatever else moves your business forward and your self-expression closer to home.

4. Implement Together
You're never on your own in this process! In between sessions, you start experimenting with what we explored together with me in your pocket (literally, via Voxer). Ask questions, get support, and let me walk you through taking action, changing your mindset, and making friends with your nervous system as you do. I'm available whenever you need me for a quick reframe, feedback, or a meditation to get you grounded again.

If you need that in your life this year, check out my website, or comment "Coach Me" and I'll send you the link to apply for my 1:1 coaching and so you can go from affirmations to analytics.
