☝️This is something I constantly struggle with.

Since I’ve started up honey words, trying to find the time and energy to grow this lil’ side hustle has been a challenge. Feeling like this whole process should go zero to 💯 is not only unrealistic, but unfair to myself. 🙇‍♀️

Like any venture, we need to make sure we enjoy the journey, not just the destination. 💛🚗💨

Been in a funk the last couple days (thankfully we’ve had some sunshine coming around again ☀️🤞), and have been trying to work through.

One of my techniques for coping with these times (as well as stress, anxiety, and beyond) is creating Found Poems.
How do you create one of these poems, you might ask? 🤔
It's simple—even if you’re someone who says “but I’m not creative”. 🤷‍♀️
YOU. 👏 CAN. 👏 BE. 👏
If you're unfamiliar, here's a step by step:

1️⃣ FIND a page. 📃👀
Preferably with some kind of writing on it that you aren't going to miss. This could be a book, a text-heavy magazine spread, even a newspaper (if you can find one of those).
2️⃣ CIRCLE a word or two that you're drawn to.➰
This is how I like to start. It could be an unusual word, one you haven't heard in a long time (or ever), or a word you think is just down-right lovely.
3️⃣ BUILD it up! 📝
Find connecting words either to build it into a linear story, statement, or just words that you think relate.
✨ REMEMBER: There are no rules here. Just try to create and not think too much about it.
4️⃣ COVER up the rest! 🖌🙈
Strikeout the rest of the words, paint over them, even collage the rest of the page if that's what you're into. There are no rules here either. Get crazy with it.

It’s the Most Wonderful Time for a Beer... and Cheer! 🍻🎄💛

This time last year, I did my first market (ever!) at . While a lot has changed since then, and I'm happy to say I'll be back there this Sunday, December 8th from 12 PM - 6 PM. 🍻
