Want to switch, cancel, or change providers for your home Internet or BYOD mobile plan?
As of June 12, 2026, new CRTC rules are now in effect. Canadians can no longer be charged fees to activate, modify, or cancel Internet and cellphone plans, making it easier to switch providers and take advantage of better offers.
