CREW CALL! GENERAL LABOURER 🔧🚚

We are looking for motivated General Labourer for a one-day contract this Saturday, September 5.

To join our team, you must have a Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and be reliable, hard-working, and ready for physical labour. Prior technical or production experience is considered an asset, but it is not a strict requirement for this role.

What an incredible weekend at SoberFest! ⚡️

Five Acre Co was proud to provide full staging and production for this year’s festival, bringing the sound, lights, and main stage setup to life. From our Stageline SL100 deployment to seamless lighting and front-of-house audio, our crew loved working alongside such a powerhouse lineup of talent!

Huge shoutout to SoberFest Victoria and Brink Events, volunteers, and every technician on our crew who came together to made this show run without a hitch. Most importantly, congratulations to SoberFest on another powerful year of celebrating recovery and building community.

We had an absolute blast delivering production support for Ukee Days this past weekend. Our team provided full audio, lighting, and set up our Stageline SL100 mobile stage to get the party going!

Thank you to the Huu-ay-aht First Nations and the 2026 Alberni Valley Indigenous-Led Soccer Community Celebration for letting our Five Acre Co. Staging and Production Services team power the audiovisual experience for yesterday's massive Switzerland vs. Colombia watch party in Anacla!

🎟️ Catch the final match on July 19th at ThThe KCC - Concert Hall & Social House in Port Alberni!

Hišimł (all together). Connecting community, culture, and sport. On Tuesday, July 7, Citizens, community members and visitors gathered at the House of Huu-ay-aht for a FIFA World Cup Watch Party and Community Day in Anacla.

This initiative is part of the 2026 Alberni Valley Indigenous-Led Soccer Community Celebration , a powerful collaboration between the Hupačasath First Nation , c̓išaaʔatḥ (Tseshaht First Nation ), and Huu-ay-aht First Nations. Supported by a grant from the Government of British Columbia , this festival successfully leverages the global excitement of soccer to create a lasting sports legacy and bring Truth and Reconciliation to life.

Thank you to all the organizers, local leaders, Five Acre Co. - Staging and Productions Services , citizens, and members from neighbouring communities who helped make this event a success.

The celebrations conclude with a free, all-ages World Cup Final watch party on Sunday, July 19, at The KCC in Port Alberni.

What an incredible weekend of learning at The KCC - Concert Hall & Social House.

Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday’s Introduction to Sound session. Following Saturday’s lighting workshop, it was the perfect way to round out our Technical Production Weekend.

We love seeing the “aha!” moments—whether it’s someone understanding signal flow for the first time or a seasoned pro refining their mixing workflow.

Helping build the technical capacity of our community is a huge part of what we do at Five Acre Co., and we’re so grateful to everyone who showed up to make it happen.
