IBM Extreme Blue Canada

IBM Extreme Blue Canada Extreme Blue is IBM's premier internship program for students pursuing technical and business/MBA degrees. Program runs May-August in Ottawa and Toronto.

In teams consisting of 1 Business (MBA or Undergrad) intern and 3 Technical interns, teams have 15 weeks from May to August to develop an innovative idea in to a prototype and business plan. Interns have the opportunity to work in a start-up environment with the latest technologies, access to IBM's vast amount of resources, and senior IBM experts. Interns are provided with professional development

opportunities to support them in their final presentations to senior executives (including the CEO) at the end of their internship at the IBM HQ in Armonk, New York. This program currently operates in 12 countries. Through the program, interns have submitted more than 400 patent disclosures and have made more than sixty open source contributions to the open source community.
