October always feels like a transition month around here. The season changes, routines settle in, and I'm already busy preparing for the Nepean Sportsplex Christmas Craft Show.

"Pay it Forward" at the BYA Gala this year:

Not everyone has an easy path to a seat at the table. The BYA Pay It Forward Program changes that.

Launched in 2024, Pay It Forward lets you purchase a gala ticket on behalf of an emerging businesswoman or female student who might not otherwise have the chance to attend.

Those tickets go into a pool managed by the Women's Business Network and are distributed to qualifying recipients, giving them access to the room, the connections, and the people who can open doors for them.

If you'd like to claim a Pay It Forward ticket, that option is available too.
