Field service still runs on paper in more places than you'd expect. Lost work orders, illegible handwriting, hours of admin time turning field notes into invoices, and signatures that never get captured because nobody had a working pen.

It works until it doesn't. And when it doesn't, it costs you in ways that are hard to see on a balance sheet but easy to feel in the day-to-day.

Going digital changes that completely. Your team captures inspections, photos, signatures, and job data right from a phone or tablet. Information flows back to the office in real time, jobs wrap up faster, and your team finally stops working twice on the same task.

At National Wireless, we help field service teams across Canada make this switch in a way that actually fits how they operate. Not a generic app dropped on top of an existing process, but the right devices, the right setup, and the right support built around your workflow.

Canada's energy industry is entering one of the most consequential decades in its history. LNG, pipelines, critical minerals, nuclear, electrification, and the data centres powering the next wave of AI all need to be built, connected, and operated at scale. And underneath every one of those projects is a layer most people don't talk about. Connectivity.

You can't run a modern SCADA network on aging 3G. You can't monitor a remote wellsite or substation without reliable LTE and 5G infrastructure. You can't build out smart energy systems without rugged, mission-critical hardware that holds up where consumer-grade equipment quits.

This is why we're going to be at the 2026 Global Energy Show Canada from June 9 to 11. Alongside our partners Peplink, Semtech, InHand and GetWireless, National Wireless will be talking with energy operators, utilities, and infrastructure leaders about the connectivity that makes everything else possible. The decarbonization conversations, the LNG announcements, the critical minerals deals, all of it depends on networks that work.

If you're shaping where Canadian energy goes next, come find us in Calgary.

The all-new website is officially live, and it's a long-overdue upgrade. The old site served its purpose, but it didn't fully capture the range of what we offer as a business.

From SD-WAN and IoT to managed mobility, fleet tracking, push-to-talk, business internet, worker safety, and everything in between, there's a lot we do, and the new site finally reflects all of it properly.

We rebuilt it to be easier to navigate, faster to load, and more useful whether you're a current client looking for support or a business owner trying to figure out what kind of solution fits your operation.

Have a look around at www.nationalwireless.ca and let us know what you think. 🇨🇦

That's a wrap on DKI Evolve 2026!

Four days at the Sheraton Centre Toronto, surrounded by the operators, branch leaders, and field crews who show up when everything goes wrong. The conversations were exactly what we hoped they'd be. Real stories about storms that took out phones mid-claim, branches that went dark in peak season, and fieldwork stalled by a single failed connection.

We came to show DKI operators what always-on connectivity actually looks like, powered by Bell, and we leave even more committed to the work. Bonding multiple internet sources into one resilient connection so when one drops, your business keeps moving.

A huge thanks to Hummaad Ahmed for holding it down at the booth all four days, to the DKI team for an incredible event, and to everyone who stopped by to chat. Until next year, Toronto. 🇨🇦

A construction site moves fast, and the gap between a quick heads-up and a missed message can be the difference between a smooth day and a serious problem. Push-to-Talk gives crews the simplicity of a walkie-talkie with the range and clarity of a modern smartphone. One button, instant communication, every worker on site connected at once.

Foremen can call out hazards. Operators can confirm a load. Site supervisors can reach the whole team without making twelve phone calls. The kind of coordination that keeps projects on schedule and people safer.

Every once in a while a product comes through our partner network that we get genuinely excited about. The new Peplink 5G Adapter is one of those.

The idea behind it makes a lot of sense once you see it. Most businesses that want to add 5G to their network are looking at a pretty serious project. New routers, reconfiguration, downtime during the switch, sometimes a full redesign depending on how the network is set up. The 5G Adapter skips all of that. You plug it into the network you already have, and the network you already have now runs on 5G.

For our clients, this opens up a lot of options. We're thinking about the restaurant chains that wanted a faster backup connection without rebuilding what they had. The fleet operators who've been looking for a way to get 5G into their vehicles. The construction sites and pop-up locations where waiting for fiber installation was never going to be realistic.

This is exactly why our partnership with Peplink matters. Every product they release gives National Wireless another tool to solve real problems for the businesses we work with. The 5G Adapter adds another layer of flexibility to what we can offer, and we're already lining up deployments for clients who've been waiting for something like this.

Reach out if you want to know whether this fits into what you're running.

For the last few years, the conversation around 5G in business has stayed mostly theoretical. Everyone agreed it was coming. Everyone agreed it would matter at some point. But the path to actually getting there usually involved replacing hardware, redesigning networks, and committing to changes most businesses weren't ready for yet.

That barrier just got a lot smaller.

The new Peplink 5G Adapter works essentially as a 5G add-on for the network you already have. You plug it in, and your existing infrastructure now has 5G capability without anything else changing.

A few things worth knowing about it:

🚀 Speeds up to 3.4 Gbps downlink on 5G
🔌 Plug-and-play deployment with zero-touch global provisioning
🌐 Pre-loaded with 1GB Peplink global eSIM data out of the box
🎛️ Full enterprise visibility and remote management via InControl
🔄 Works as a 5G upgrade, a failover connection, or a primary source

The kind of upgrade that used to take a full quarter to plan now takes about ten minutes to deploy. That's a meaningful shift, and it directly strengthens what National Wireless can offer our clients. With this in our lineup, we can bring 5G to more businesses, in more environments, with a lot less friction than before. Our partnership with Peplink keeps making it easier to deliver the kind of reliable, future-ready connectivity that Canadian businesses deserve.

We're already working with clients on what this looks like in their environments. Let's talk if you want to be one of them.

Your restoration business runs on connectivity. Real-time dispatching, uploading damage photos for insurance approvals, tracking vehicles in the field, processing claims through cloud-based platforms. When your internet drops, all of it stops.

National Wireless is at DKI Evolve 2026 to show DKI operators how to make internet outages a thing of the past. We bond your fibre, cable, and cellular into one resilient connection with instant failover. Your branch and your field crews stay online no matter what happens to your primary connection.

We'll be at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, May 23-26, 2026. Stop by our booth for a live demo.

Curious what downtime has cost your operation? We'd love to hear your story. Drop your experience below and let's talk about how to fix it.

Restoration is one of the only industries where the same event that creates your work also destroys the infrastructure you need to do it. Floods take out towers. Ice storms kill power. And suddenly your phones, dispatch, and claims systems all go dark at the exact moment demand spikes.

National Wireless delivers always-on connectivity that bonds multiple internet sources into one resilient connection. If one goes down, the others carry on. Your branch stays live. Your crews stay reachable. Your claims keep moving.

We're exhibiting at DKI Evolve 2026, May 23-26 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. Come see a live demo at our booth.

We'd love to hear how your team handles connectivity during peak disaster season. What's been your biggest challenge? Let's start that conversation in the comments.
