MySpace is relaunching. And honestly? A whole generation is ready for it.

Our guest grew up on Hi5 and MySpace, and he's done with algorithms deciding what he sees. He wants an iPod again. A phone-free walk. Social media where he clicks what he wants, not what gets fed to him.

Sounds nostalgic until you realize Gen Z is pushing the same thing. They didn't grow up with algorithm-free feeds, but they're starting to want out anyway.

Worth two minutes if you build anything online.

Your best ad idea probably didn't come from ChatGPT. It came from the shower.

In this clip, our guest makes a point worth sitting with: AI is trained on everyone else's ideas. So when you ask it for a creative concept, you're basically getting the average of what's already out there. The stuff that actually cuts through? That comes from your own weird brain, your own conversations, your own random shower thoughts.

AI's still useful. Just maybe not for the "big idea" part.

Every conversation you have is worth more than you think. You're just not capturing it.

Our guest records every call with Otter, then runs a weekly AI task that scans all of it and pulls out the one thing worth remembering. Turns it into three parts: something to think about, something to try, something to listen to. Two minutes, tops.

No bloated newsletter nobody opens. Just the sharpest lesson from a week of real conversations, distilled and sent back to him.

Steal the system, not just the idea.

Out-of-home advertising has run on the same playbook for 100 years: put a billboard where a million people pass by, charge for the exposure, and never actually prove it worked.

That's the whole model. Nobody's tracking who saw it or what they did after. You're buying awareness on faith.

Our guest calls the people running that game sharks — and he's not wrong. They know volume covers for accountability. But that only works as long as nobody's asking for better numbers.

"You should have done it already. Do it yesterday." - Kevin Taylor

Kevin is an attorney; he works 100% remote, and before working with us, he built his business through old-school networking and warm referrals. That's it.

Now we get the first-line calls out and set up the meetings; Kevin shows up and sells himself.

Thank you, Kevin!

P.S. If you have a question about closing sales, closing investors, managing strategic relationships or protecting intellectual property, talk to Kevin: https://vist.ly/5h5jr

Who says no to more revenue?

That's the pitch Gaston Corbella is bringing to CES with Backpackr, and honestly, it's hard to argue with the logic. Stadiums, college campuses, convention centers, trade shows — they already have the venues, the events, the staff. They're not being asked to build anything new. Just sell something new.

No infrastructure. No capital investment. No extra operational headache. Just a new revenue stream sitting on top of what's already running.

Simple pitch. Big convention. Worth the two minutes.

"Prove to me that you're a human."

That's what a prospect said to one of Jason Hunt's sales reps on a cold call. She had a sore throat, her voice sounded a little robotic, and the guy on the other end was convinced he'd been caught talking to a bot. She had to basically defend her humanity mid-pitch.

Funny story, but it points at something real. AI is everywhere in marketing now, and people are getting jumpy about it. The businesses that win aren't the ones hiding that they use AI. They're the ones who know exactly where a human voice still matters and refuse to fake it.

One camera. One event. 17,000 verified views.

Gaston Corbella's team ran an entrance/exit deployment at a World Cup match in Inglewood, two hours a side, and pulled that number even after one of their cameras malfunctioned. Out of home advertising has run on assumptions for a century. No real tracking, no clear attribution, just billboards and hope. Gaston's building the measurement layer that industry never had.

If you've ever wondered how you'd actually prove a physical ad worked, this clip is worth your two minutes.
