Gah what a week!!!!

Canada is out of the World Cup. (But they had an amazing run.)

Serious storms this week here in Aurora where I live. Two very large trees that were our neighbours crashed down in our yard. Luckily most of the damage was to our fences and some to the eavestrough. Oh and to my husband who ended up with a broken arm… Canada losing just felt like the last kick.

Not related at all but here are two new crows on pink.

Fingers crossed next week is better.

Last chance to bid on hand painted chairs in support of Oasis Centre for Bereavement and Healing.

The Wishing Chair

As you may have seen in my posts I lost my mother last year. I painted this chair in her memory. The blue the colour of the ocean covered with wishes. Dandelion wishes are said to carry messages to loved ones who are not near. I imagine sitting in this chair and thinking of family and friends and having your thoughts float to them on the wind.
