The part-time bilingual Social Media Manager is responsible for running social media accounts for a handful of our clients. At a minimum, you’ll be creating original content, managing posts, responding to comments, and managing our client’s company image in a consistent way.
Once you become an integrated member of our team, you’ll get the opportunity to work on unique projects and explore different creative opportunities directly with our clients.
It goes without saying that you have strong knowledge of social media platforms, marketing strategy, experience designing content and visuals, and an ability to work independently as part of a remote team.
Main Responsibilities
- Design visuals, graphics, reports, and other marketing materials.
- Write copy in French and English for client content and the agency's platforms.
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content in English and French.
- Participate in the implementation of content strategy on various social platforms and formats.
- Analyze posts, content, and account data to provide insights and identify trends to improve results.
- Perform Community Management to organically grow client’s online communities, answer and reply to direct messages, comments, and reviews.
- Stay on top of trends, new features, and best practices for content creation and social media.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role — in agency, in media, or on a personal project.
- Strong knowledge of social media with experience working with diverse platforms and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge and experience designing content with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Figma, and other design tools.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills in both French and English.
- Familiar with Google Analytics.
- Completely fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Can collaborate well, has good team spirit, adaptability, resourcefulness, and self-discipline.
- Comfortable working with tight deadlines, and delivering projects on time.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, excellent time management, and attention to detail.
Considered Advantages
- Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, LinkedIn Ads Manager.
- Experience with designing and creating GIFs, motion graphics, illustrations, and videos.
Additional Details
- This position requires 10 hours+ of work per week. (Additional hours may be requested).
- This is a remote position with weekly / bi-weekly meetings.
