When creating the art for the Book I was immersed in the Now, the spiritual significance of colour and form as per the Hermetic Tarot tradition, without too much thought for the work as a "product".

In the commercial world of design though, results are the only justification for time spent on a product, and monetization drives the spread of arts and culture.

Likewise, in ritual work or meditation, we're taught to avoid a "lust for result", or emotional attachment to the outcome of an act, because it alters the process, and the outcome.

Therein lies the toxicity of monetizing spiritual artwork and culture. And I'm not really sure how to address that problem! Other than being a little more flexible 😊
