Dayna Gedney is a Toronto born designer / maker with a background in fashion and graphic design. Joseph Bauman and Dayna Gedney met at school and fell in love while making furniture. JB+DG is a small product and design studio run by the husband and wife team. Joseph and Dayna are furniture makers, currently focusing on developing small products and design objects. We have our staples, but we love
reinterpreting them. Finding new and beautiful ways to create, style and decorate with wood is as rewarding as it gets. At the heart of each project we aim to use luxurious materials to provide straightforward utility and simple beauty in equal measure. The natural beauty and quality of material is key to each piece we create and every product we design. We aim to highlight the versatility and richness of wood, with a focus on locally and sustainably sourced lumbers. Our work is our passion, our home our haven. We design and build furniture we love to live with.
