TzaddiMADE is the brand of Tzaddi Gordon (that’s me, and my first name is pronounced “zawdee”). I’m an artist and designer from the west coast of Canada. I make at least a little every day, and share some of my process along the way. The sharing is part of my mission to get over perfectionism and demystify creative processes. People keep telling me that’s inspiring to them. I hope you might find some joy and inspiration in my posts, too. Some of what I create is turned into artful products such as stationery, wrap skirts, and pouches. Thinking about using this image of a girl climbing through a window for one of my poems.

It’s one of the minority of images in this 1930s “Pleasure Book for Girls” that hasn’t been coloured by young hands, presumably almost 100 years ago.

My collaged poems take a long time to finish because I’m looking for an image that plays well with not only the meaning of the text, but the placement on the page.
