The Kola Superdeep Borehole - The Hell is Real 😱🌍

In 1970, the Soviet Union launched one of the most ambitious drilling projects in human history—not into space, but straight into the Earth.

By 1989, scientists had drilled nearly 12 kilometers underground. What they discovered was astonishing: rocks containing unexpected water and ancient fossils buried far deeper than scientists thought possible.

Then came the legend…

Reports claimed that audio equipment lowered into the borehole captured terrifying sounds described as thousands of people screaming from deep beneath the Earth. 😨

The project was eventually abandoned, and the enormous hole was sealed.

Was there really something strange beneath the Earth—or was the screaming story simply a Cold War-era myth?

One thing remains certain:

The deeper humanity goes, the more mysteries we uncover.

Panic in Osogbo as Gunmen Open Fire on Governor Adeleke’s Convoy

OSOGBO — Residents and business owners in parts of Osogbo were thrown into panic on Wednesday after suspected gunmen reportedly opened fire on the convoy of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, shortly after he left the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji.

The reported attack led to an intense exchange of gunfire between the suspected attackers and security personnel attached to the governor. The confrontation reportedly lasted between 12 and 15 minutes before the assailants fled the area.

Governor Adeleke had arrived at the Ataoja’s palace at about 3:15 p.m. with a large convoy following his visit to the Osun State headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Osogbo.

Sources said the governor’s meeting with the traditional ruler was peaceful and had ended without incident. Trouble reportedly started shortly after the governor left the palace through a private exit and entered his official vehicle.

An eyewitness, speaking anonymously, said gunshots suddenly erupted as the governor’s convoy prepared to depart.

According to the witness, the suspected attackers were travelling in an unregistered Sienna bus and allegedly approached the area through Ita Olokan.

The witness said security operatives attached to the governor immediately responded to the attack, resulting in a prolonged exchange of gunfire.

The incident reportedly caused confusion across the surrounding area as residents, pedestrians and traders rushed to find shelter.

A trader identified as Munirat said the attackers appeared to have targeted the governor’s convoy deliberately.

She alleged that the gunmen fired toward the palace gate and caused damage to part of the entrance before security personnel forced them to retreat.

The trader added that many businesses in the area were immediately shut as people abandoned their shops and fled to safer locations.

She further claimed that another confrontation occurred near the Osogbo Central Mosque before the attackers escaped toward Ita Olokan along the Osogbo-Ilesa Road.

The development prompted concerns over the safety of the governor and other people in the vicinity.

However, the Osun State Government later moved to calm residents, confirming that Governor Adeleke was safe following the incident.

The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, said security operatives successfully repelled the attackers and prevented the situation from escalating.

Alimi described the assailants as hoodlums and confirmed that the governor was not injured.

“They are hoodlums, and the governor’s security repelled them. They attacked the governor’s convoy at Ataoja’s palace. No casualty was recorded,” the commissioner said.

Security personnel reportedly remained active in the area following the shooting, while some traders and residents temporarily closed their businesses and left the vicinity.

Authorities are expected to investigate the incident and establish the identities and motives of those behind the reported attack.
