The CRA is increasing scrutiny on temp workers, and many clinics may be misclassifying them.

Key point: It’s not about contracts or invoices. It’s about how the work is actually done.

In most cases, temps can be considered employees from hour one of a temp shift. The real challenge is that payroll systems weren’t built for this kind of flexible, one-off work, leading to risky workarounds.
