The 6505 and 6505+ are wonderful sounding amplifiers! But...

They may need some minor repair from time to time however. Two came into the shop recently -- both with intermittent output to the speaker (especially when played at stage volume).

They both had issues with the black speaker output wire and its terminals. One had a terminal post that was loose (and pulled right out) due to a cold solder joint, while the other had loose-fitting sockets that needed tightening.

It's always nice to have a simple issue (not necessarily simple to track down) with a simple repair.
