They’re coming with me to the Miniature Enthusiasts of Toronto Toronto show on Oct 17. When they’re gone, they’re gone!
The last one is my very favourite. I have to ask: which one would you grab? 👀

Today’s theme for is ‘A Little Light.’ And why not a mini jack-o’-lantern!

I have to take a moment to mention this adorable little turntable display that was delivered this weekend. So cute, right?! I wasted no time setting it up 😅 Now, I want to display ALL my minis this way lol.

If you’re going to the Toronto mini show in October, you’ll see it live and in action at my table. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy this little fall and Halloween display, including the lit stars of the show 🎃!

Today’s theme is Show and Tell, and this particular theme couldn’t come at a better time. I JUST finished creating these caddies today, and I’m so excited to show them off. I’m just a tad obsessed. 😍 YES, you saw that right — they spin! I’m also pretty pleased with my faux ‘galvanized’ metal paint technique. I think it’s pretty convincing ifIdosaysomyself. 😊

So that’s the ‘show’, and for the ‘tell’, here’s something that’s not as fun, but it’s honest. What looks like a simple caddy took me hours and hours to create. I went through a handful of prototypes until I found a design that I was happy with, tried different size ‘spinny things’ until I found the right one, and even painted several ‘metal’ samples until I found the technique that worked best. Was it rewarding? Absolutely! 😁 But it’s just a reminder to also celebrate all the background work, research and testing that goes into something you’re proud to share. 💕

Greetings friends! I’m Lara from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦

Somehow, in just about a year and a half, miniatures have completely taken over my life -but importantly also my heart 🥰

I went to my very first miniature show as a customer in March… and apparently that was all it took, because in May, I was on the other side of the table as a vendor at my first show! All these minis I was making needed new homes 😆(Can’t stop, won’t stop lol).

I’m now getting ready for my second show — the Toronto Miniature Show in October — and I am SO excited. My daughter helped me at my first show and will be back by my side in Toronto. I truly couldn’t do it without her. ❤️

One of the biggest surprises for me has been the miniature community itself. I love the creativity, generosity, encouragement and sheer enthusiasm of those who share this wonderful little world.

So, hello from me and my ever-growing collection of tiny creations! 👋🏻🥰
