Greetings friends! I’m Lara from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦

Somehow, in just about a year and a half, miniatures have completely taken over my life -but importantly also my heart 🥰

I went to my very first miniature show as a customer in March… and apparently that was all it took, because in May, I was on the other side of the table as a vendor at my first show! All these minis I was making needed new homes 😆(Can’t stop, won’t stop lol).

I’m now getting ready for my second show — the Toronto Miniature Show in October — and I am SO excited. My daughter helped me at my first show and will be back by my side in Toronto. I truly couldn’t do it without her. ❤️

One of the biggest surprises for me has been the miniature community itself. I love the creativity, generosity, encouragement and sheer enthusiasm of those who share this wonderful little world.

Another mini waterslide transformation ✨

These started out as plain white 3D-printed lamp bases… and then I added this gorgeous blue & white floral pattern. 🤍💙

Honestly, at this point I’m just looking for excuses to waterslide all the things 😂

If you’re wondering about waterslide labels, wonder no more! 😊. They really are super easy to use, and can add such wonderful details to your minis.
Tip: Be sure to seal them with a matte spray sealant after printing so the ink doesn’t run when you wet them. 👍

I’ve made countless pairs the last few weeks - I can’t stop! Black rims, tortoise shell, green, red, you name it. Why? Because - they are just TOO cute!
1:12 scale glasses with lenses - for styling reading nooks, on top of a newspaper, on the bedside table…. 😍

Proof that miniaturists are completely reasonable people who spend their evenings creating details smaller than a grain of rice. 😂 That’s the magic, though, isn’t it? All the tiny but important details 🥰
