Embarking on the MIT LEGATUM FOUNDRY FELLOWS-Botswana Eco-system Tour on January 26, 2024, was an invigorating start to the year, brimming with inspiration and opportunity. Themed "MISSION TO BOTSWANA TO PROMOTE ACADEMIC RESEARCH AND INVESTMENT IN AFRICA THROUGH INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY," the event served as a beacon of hope and progress.
Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the exhibition, our M.D Billy Nyambe had the privilege to share Smartcom Innovations' forward-thinking ideas with His Excellency the esteemed president of the Republic of Botswana Mokgweetsi E. K. Masisi. Together, they explored avenues to revolutionize electricity management and utilization, envisioning a brighter, more sustainable future with our second-generation Smart electricity meters.
We deeply appreciate Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub and Botswana Innovation Fund for their consistent support and commitment, which has turned this collaborative effort into a reality. As we move forward into the new year, driven by innovation and teamwork, the path to significant change awaits, offering endless opportunities.
