We had the distinct pleasure of hosting Dr. Farzam Kamalabadi, Chairman of Future Trends Group and the Presidential Envoy on International Relations and Economic Development to the Republic of Botswana, his team, and his delegation from China, Hongkong, UAE, Germany, Singapore, Oman, Lebanon and South Africa for a tour of our Gaborone facility.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase HB’s unique closed-loop ecosystem - a model built on transparency, value creation, and value retention within the country of origin.

Rather than the fragmented structures that often disconnect different parts of the diamond value chain, HB’s approach aligns the interests of all stakeholders, ensuring that every stage of the process is traceable, accountable, and contributes directly to Botswana and her people.

At HB Botswana, we are proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone: the unveiling of an extraordinary collection of ultra-rare diamonds, recently discovered at the Karowe mine in Botswana through our partnership with Lucara Diamond Corp.

These exceptional stones, a testament to Botswana’s natural wealth, were revealed for the first time at our HB Antwerp facility, where we had the honor of welcoming Antwerp Mayor Els van Doesburg to witness this historic moment.

With HB’s proprietary technology and a deep respect for the origin of each diamond, we are committed to unlocking their full potential.
