Really excited to share this amazing collaboration with Limpet Space Race, Cayenna Ponchione & Orchestra of St John's. Taking field recordings and inspiration from our trip to one of the largest landslides in the Nepalese Himalayas, this moving piece responds to the increasing threat of landslides linked to climate change, taking the listener through the different stages of the cycle of erosion.

We are excited to share the second chapter of our multimedia H2O project - documenting climate change from peaks to plains along Nepal's Gandaki river.

In this chapter, you will read, hear and visualise how climate change is accelerating what villagers in Ullikhola call 'Nepal's largest landslide', trapping families between crumbling hills and flooding rivers.

Ullikhola is a beautiful small village replete with green vegetation and colourful flowers, located in the heart of Nepal’s mid-hills. The village sits on the banks of the Baghati river, where water plays a central role in sustaining the lives and livelihoods of villagers - allowing families to gr...

Mountains are experiencing unprecedented change and are warming much faster than lowland areas. In Mustang, Nepal, the changing climate is pushing apple production further upstream, in search for cooler temperatures. Here, we share the stories of those who are having to adjust to these changes.

Crossing the river in the floodplains of Nepal, Chitwan, with some DIY sound equipment (yes that is a coat hanger Niko is carrying to space out his microphones!). Hard to tell whether he's most excited about his invention, the sounds of water he's recording, or the alligators peeking out of the water 😂

In Mustang, Northern Nepal, close to the border with Tibet, the small amount of water that falls on the earth is like a dagger carving the mountain. Further downstream, these thousands of small streams will become the mighty Ganges, one of the largest and most worshiped rivers in the world.

Annually, Mustang receives around 250mm of water. That's roughly the amount of water that fell on parts of Southern Nepal, in just one day (12 August), during the floods that affected Nepal and India. How do you manage water in a country with such extreme variations in rainfall?
