Formula Student (FSAE) is one of the best platforms for engineering students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real world engineering. It challenges students to design, build, test, and improve a complete race car while developing practical skills in teamwork, problem solving, project management, and technical decision making.

For students, FSAE is not just about racing. It is about learning how engineering works beyond the classroom and gaining hands-on experience that prepares them for real engineering challenges.

Under the guidance of our President, Ragib Ishraq (EEE), our trainees Mirza Mahadir Hasan (EEE) and Toufique Omar (BME) successfully designed, assembled, and programmed their first Line Following Robot. Although they are only first-year students, they quickly mastered the fundamentals of sensors, motor control, and embedded programming through a short period of training, resulting in a robot that confidently navigates curves, zigzags, and 90° turns.

PistonEdge Club is more than just a Formula Student team. While our flagship project is the Formula Car, we are equally committed to nurturing future engineers through hands-on projects in robotics, embedded systems, energy, AI, and beyond.

Seeing new members learn, experiment, and grow into confident builders is one of our greatest achievements. This is just the beginning,many more innovations are on the way.
