IEEE Computer Society Eastern University Student Branch Chapter Connect 2026 | Student Engagement Ceremony | Fall 2026

The IEEE Computer Society Eastern University Student Branch Chapter successfully organized Connect 2026 | Student Engagement Ceremony for the Fall 2026 intake on 16 October 2026, conducted virtually via Google Meet. The session welcomed newly admitted students to an inspiring journey of professional growth, technological innovation, and leadership development.

The session was conducted by our Chairperson, Mr. Turjo Saha, and Vice Chairperson, Md. Abir Hasan, who introduced students to IEEE—the world's largest technical professional organization—and the IEEE Computer Society, a leading global community for computing professionals. They shared the vision, mission, and journey of our chapter at Eastern University, highlighting how IEEE empowers students through technical learning, research, leadership development, industry collaboration, global networking, professional recognition, and career advancement.

The discussion emphasized the value of IEEE membership, the differences between IEEE and conventional university clubs, and the opportunities available through active participation in the IEEE Computer Society. Students learned how IEEE can help them develop practical skills beyond the classroom while connecting with a global network of professionals, researchers, and industry leaders.

The session also showcased our chapter's achievements over the past two years, including flagship technical events, corporate engagement programmes, workshops, competitions, seminars, and professional development initiatives that continue to create meaningful opportunities for students.
