“AI should become a mirror of human intelligence, not a substitute for human wisdom.”
He further explained that AI can only become meaningful and beneficial when guided by human judgment, ethics, professionalism, and intellectual capability. Professionals should therefore focus on strengthening their fundamental knowledge and practical expertise while simultaneously learning how to use AI effectively.
The workshop also highlighted several potential risks and societal concerns related to Artificial Intelligence, including:
* Overdependence on automated systems
* Reduction of human creativity and analytical capability
* Data privacy and cybersecurity risks
* Ethical concerns and algorithmic bias
* Job displacement due to automation
* Spread of misinformation and deepfake technologies
* Misuse of AI for cybercrime and unethical activities
The speakers emphasized that while AI can create significant opportunities, it can also become harmful to society if used irresponsibly, without proper regulation, ethical standards, and human oversight.
Mr. Kamrul Hasan, in his session, discussed the practical applications of AI in modern workplaces and future career opportunities emerging from AI-driven industries. He encouraged participants to continuously upgrade their digital skills, technological literacy, and adaptability to remain competitive in the changing professional environment.
