I think we’re over-designing websites.
The more websites I study, the more I notice the same problem:
A website can look amazing and still fail to generate clients.
Beautiful animations.
Smooth interactions.
Premium visuals.
But if a visitor still has to ask:
→ What does this business actually do?
→ Is this for me?
→ Why should I trust them?
→ What should I do next?
Then the website has a clarity problem.
I’m learning that good web design isn’t just about making a website look premium.
It’s about making the right message impossible to miss.
Sometimes the best design decision is removing half the page and making the remaining message crystal clear.
Less decoration. More direction.
If you’re a business owner, what matters more to you:
A website that looks impressive, or one that brings you the right enquiries?
