Building a PC is basically choosing compatible parts, assembling them, then installing Windows and drivers. Here’s a beginner-friendly order:
🧩 Parts you need
1. CPU (processor) — the main brain
2. Motherboard — connects everything
3. RAM — system memory
4. GPU (graphics card) — needed for gaming/graphics; some CPUs have built-in graphics
5. Storage (SSD) — where Windows and your files go
6. Power supply (PSU) — provides power
7. PC case — holds the components
8. CPU cooler — keeps the processor cool
9. Operating system — usually Windows
🔧 Assembly order
1. Prepare the motherboard outside the case
* Install the CPU.
* Install the RAM.
* Install the M.2 SSD if you’re using one.
* Install the CPU cooler.
2. Prepare the case
* Check that the motherboard standoffs are in the correct positions.
* Install the motherboard into the case.
3. Install the power supply
* Put the PSU into its compartment.
* Connect the motherboard and CPU power cables.
4. Install the graphics card
* Insert the GPU into the appropriate PCIe slot.
* Secure it to the case.
* Connect its power cable if required.
5. Connect everything
* Front-panel power/reset cables
* USB/audio cables
* Case fans
* Storage cables if using SATA drives
* PSU cables
6. First boot
Connect your monitor, keyboard and mouse, then turn the PC on. Enter the BIOS/UEFI and check that the CPU, RAM and SSD are detected.
7. Install Windows
Use a Windows installation USB, install Windows, then install the motherboard and GPU drivers.
⚠️ Important
The most important part before buying anything is compatibility. The CPU, motherboard, RAM, cooler, case, PSU and GPU all need to work together.
If you tell me your budget (for example ৳50,000 / ৳80,000 / ৳1,00,000) and whether you want it mainly for gaming, school/work, or both, I can suggest a complete PC build.
