We are looking for a talented Junior Frontend Developer to join our team. As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing websites using the latest technologies like Javascript, React, and Next JS.

About Us

AnchorBlock is a US-based quantitative investment manager with offices in Miami, Dubai, and Dhaka. AnchorBlock applies conventional quantitative techniques gleaned from years of trading systematic fixed income and equities in addition to new strategies unique to blockchain. AnchorBlock relies heavily on new machine-learning techniques for risk management and alpha generation.

About the Role

We are looking for programmers with a keen eye for design for the position of a front-end developer. Front-end developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.

Front-end developers are required to work in teams alongside back-end developers, graphic designers, and user experience designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

-Expertise in Javascript, React, and Next JS
-Good design sense and attention to detail
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
-Experience with RESTful APIs and other web services
-Knowledge of Git and version control
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

-Develop high-quality websites using the latest technologies
-Collaborate with the design team to implement design elements and improve the user experience
-Work with the backend team to integrate APIs and other services
-Write clean and maintainable code
-Ensure the website is responsive and works on all devices
-Keep up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices

Salary BDT 25k-30k (depending on proficiency)
Location Banani, Dhaka
On-site, Full time (40 hours/week)
