The new Shot Clock website is live.

We’ve rebuilt the site to better show what Shot Clock has become — from the original timer on Garmin, through Apple Watch, iPhone and Android, to Shot Clock Diary & Scoring and the range technology we’re working on next.

There’s plenty to explore, including the live Shot Clock timer you can run directly in your browser, dedicated sections for precision r***e and pistol shooters, manuals and support, and a closer look at what we’re building.

A big thank you to Alex and Han for letting us use their photos of Shot Clock in action. It’s much better showing Shot Clock where it belongs — on the range and in a match — than relying on product screenshots alone.

Garmin shooters have had Shot Clock on their wrists for years. Now it’s Apple’s turn.

Shot Clock Pro is now available for Apple Watch and iPhone.

Shot Clock puts a purpose-built shooting sports PAR timer right on your Apple Watch, with the iPhone app providing an easy way to create and manage your timing sequences, DOPE Cards and Notes.

Already using Shot Clock on Garmin? The iPhone app is also a free companion for compatible Garmin watches, giving you a much easier way to manage your Shot Clock setup from your phone.

No watch? Shot Clock can also run as a complete standalone PAR timer on your iPhone with a subscription.

🚀 Shot Clock is now available for Android!

If you’re already using Shot Clock on your Garmin watch, this update is for you.

The Android app is first and foremost a free companion app that makes managing your Shot Clock data much easier than doing it with Garmin's native setup. Create and edit timing sequences, maintain your DOPE Cards, keep notes for different matches and disciplines, then synchronise everything to your Garmin watch over Bluetooth. It’s the fastest and easiest way to get your watch ready before heading to the range.

Don’t own a Garmin watch? No problem.

With a monthly or annual subscription, Shot Clock becomes a fully featured standalone PAR timer on your Android phone, with the same powerful timing engine and flexible sequence editor that Garmin users have enjoyed for years.

Shot Clock is a purpose-built PAR timer for competitive shooting sports. It manages preparation periods, firing strings, timed sequences, alert sounds and vibration. It is not a shot timer and does not detect or record gunshots.

📱 iPhone users: The iOS version is currently in Apple’s review process and should be available very soon with the same functionality.

Shot Clock 2.0 for Garmin lands later today. It's the biggest release since version 1.

Two things you'll notice first:

📝 THE PORTAL
Build your time sequences on a real keyboard. Choose Open Portal on the watch and the editor opens on your phone with your 6-digit code already filled in — no address to type, no code to copy down. Custom sequences, DOPE Cards and Notes, all edited at shotclock.au/portal and synced straight back to the watch. Until now, a custom course of fire meant working through Shot Clock's settings inside the Garmin Connect app.

🎯 DOPE CARDS
Distance, elevation and windage for every target, with its own symbol and colour, and up to 5 named wind brackets per card. Focus View gives you one entry at a time with a live timer. Stage View shows up to 5 at once, so you can read a whole stage at a glance.

There's plenty more — Notes on the watch, a much more reliable gesture start, a regrouped settings menu, and the screen staying lit through the whole countdown on AMOLED watches.

Help Shape the Future of Shot Clock Diary – Beta Testers Wanted

Over the past several months I’ve been developing Shot Clock Diary—a brand-new companion app designed specifically for sport shooters.

Rather than trying to be just another scorebook or note-taking app, Shot Clock Diary combines a comprehensive shooting diary, advanced match scoring and professional Range Officer tools into a single application.

The goal is simple: give shooters one place to record everything that matters, learn from every session and build a complete history of their shooting journey.

What can it do?

📖 Shooting Diary

* Record every shooting session with equipment, am******on, load data and rounds fired.
* Automatically retrieve the actual historical weather for your session, including temperature, wind, cloud cover and precipitation based on the date, time and shooting location.
* Find nearby shooting ranges or search around any town or suburb to accurately identify where you were shooting.
* Capture photos and videos, annotate targets, create sketches and keep detailed training notes.

🎯 Individual Scoring

* Built-in scorecards for ISSF, Service Pistol, WA/PPC1500, Bullseye, NPA, Action Match and more.
* Create your own custom scorecards.
* Detailed statistics, charts and long-term performance analysis.

👥 Range Officer Mode

* Score entire squads from a single device.
* Produce professional PDF results.
* Optional live scoring for spectators.
* Designed for clubs, competitions and championship events.

Beta Testers Wanted

The app is now at the stage where I’d like to put it into the hands of real shooters.

I’m looking for volunteers using both Apple iPhone and Android phones who are willing to use the app during normal training sessions and competitions, then provide honest feedback on what works well and what could be improved.

Whether you’re an occasional club shooter, a serious competitor or a Range Officer, your feedback will help shape the final release.

We’ve had a bit of interest lately in adding a D.O.P.E. card feature to Shot Clock 👀

Before we go too far down the build path, we’d love to get some input from the community.

If you were using a DOPE card on your watch, what would you want it to look like?
• What fields are essential?
• How detailed vs minimal should it be?
• How often would you actually use it during or after a session?
• Do we need the timer to display at the same time as the DOPE Card ?
• Anything that would make it genuinely useful (not just another screen)?
