NBN comments 03/03/2022 11:45am AEDT - nbn advises that there is still no ETR for this outage as road closures are still in place. Please note that this incident is a priority to restore, however unfortunately at this time there is no access to the site. Hey everyone, I thought I'd just say think you for all the messages and emails. I'm a little swamped for the next week or two but have applied for my last permit needed. I've spoken to the guys providing my connection and they said installation within two weeks. With the overwhelming support, need and interest I'll be upping the main connection to support higher bandwidth for the future. This higher end gear has added more cost to me, but is a more economical solution long term. And WHEN more people come on board, the supplier will be able to allocate more speed without any hardware upgrades. I currently have 500mb waiting for me and can double the speed over night. This project isn't something I'm looking at rushing into. My allegiance is always to my clients, I will never over promise or mislead anyone. And really will deliver a minimum speed of 30mb. I have had a test site running for the past two weeks to make sure the min speeds and download boosts are working. As well as the billing a portal. I will be uploading photos from the Trees rd site for Currumbin Valley in the next few days so follow the page for updates.
I know I said i was looking for 5-10 houses, but with the extra bandwidth, it's looking like over 20 houses will be capable without sacrificing performance.
