Hey Magpies,

This is the last time you'll be hearing from us.

We would just like to say thank you for the memories.

We're sorry we couldn't stick around any longer, and we're sorry we were unable to pass the reins on to someone else.

We wish Upwey the best of luck in the future and hope the community continues to support its local business. Remember, without you to help them, all those cafes and shops in the Main Street aren't going to survive! So do you bit, and shop locally whenever you can. Go out of your way to get that coffee you wanted from Upwey, rather than going elsewhere.

And without further ado, we wish you all the best.

2 Days Left!
There's still a whole bunch of bargains up for grabs, I dug out so much Tupperware today... You wouldn't believe it, matching the lids is ridiculous... Seriously, there was one that had a lid about 3mm too small, I spent so much time trying to make it fit properly, I mean honestly, I've given up on relationships quicker than I gave up on fitting this lid! Turns out it was the wrong lid, but that's beside the point...

Closing Down Sale - Noon Sunday to Thursday

Well it’s the end of an era I suppose, we have shut off the ovens, we’ve switched off the toaster, and at noon tomorrow, we’ll turn the dial on the trusted old Cimbali coffex machine 2 clicks to the left, and with that, the Magpie Cafe will be closed.

We’ve had joy, we’ve had fun, we’ve had moments in the sun, but these hills.... wait, sorry, our bad... now we’re just quoting Westlife accidentally....
However, there’s no funny twist, or comical spin we can put on this one, our little cafe in the hills has come to an end, with a heavy heart, we bid it a fond and teary farewell, but as they say, all good things...
So we’re having a 3 day closing down sale starting Noon Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday , we’re selling it all, so if you want a little piece of the Magpie Cafe to take home, your favourite chair or coffee mug, the pots, pans saucepans, knives, and countless other kitchen tools from behind the scenes we use to prepare your meals everyday, even the coveted Cimbali coffex is up for grabs.
