This website for Northern Builders was built around an already developed brand. Simply taking inspiration from the style, colours and fonts - a clean, modern and minimal style design was formed as a landing page for their business. We often overcomplicate what a website needs to do.
For a service business like Channel Auto Electrics, the goal isn't to keep people browsing for hours. It’s to get their problem fixed.

When someone has an issue with their car, they are usually stressed and in a hurry. They don't want to hunt for a phone number or navigate five different pages.
That’s why we put this booking form front and center. It’s simple, clear, and asks for just the basics.

It removes the friction. The customer gets to "Book Now" immediately, and the business owner gets a qualified lead sent straight to their inbox without playing phone tag all day.

Sometimes the best design is just making it easy for people to pay you.

One of the things I enjoy most about this job is that no two weeks are ever the same.
You can’t just have one "style" as a web designer. You have to be able to shift gears constantly.

One minute I’m diving into the industrial world, figuring out how to showcase safety specs and technical details for a trade client. The next, I’m switching focus to hospitality, trying to capture the mood and atmosphere of a venue on a screen.

The core skill isn't just knowing how to code or use design software. It’s being able to listen and understand how different businesses actually operate.

A big part of a successful website is how it handles different screen sizes. It isn't just about shrinking things down to fit; it is about adjusting the layout so it actually makes sense for the person using it.

For this project with 1300 Nonslip, we went with a custom side-navigation for larger screens like tablets and laptops. It gives easy access to everything without cluttering the content.

But on mobile, that setup doesn't work. So we rebuilt the layout to stack neatly, putting the most critical information and the brochure download right where a thumb can reach it.

Custom layouts mean your customers get the right experience, whether they are sitting at a desk or searching on their phone in the ute.
