Most building managers know something is wrong before it becomes urgent.
The crack that appeared last quarter. The water stain that keeps coming back. The section of façade no one has looked at properly in years.
The problem is not awareness. It is documentation.
Walkthroughs happen. Notes get taken. Photos land in folders. But six months later, when someone asks what the condition was — the record is incomplete, inconsistent, or buried in an email thread nobody can find.
Reactive maintenance is not a strategy. It is what happens when your data is not structured enough to support anything better.
