I have been painting with focus for around 15 years but have enjoyed drawing and painting since I was a kid. I have always been inspired by beautiful brushstrokes, amazing colour combinations such as paynes grey, sap green and raw umber. I have had amazing opportunities within art to push myself past my naturally introverted temperament. This started the first time I did an art course and was aske
d to draw something and then show it to the class. I have a BA Arts (painting), A Certificate of arts from TAFE and had the privilege to attend private watercolour lessons with Carl Haanappel. I have taught art privately, in a mission school environment and in smaller demonstrative ways. I have a family history of creatives with my Mum being an oil painter when she was younger and my Dad having a wonderful eye for perspective and graphic design. Only now am I finding my feet and seeing my artwork come together in a way that I am willing to share with others. Sharing artwork is for feedback, not to show off in any way.
