Well, the best scoreboard is not the biggest or the most advanced one.
It is the one that fits YOUR venue best.

Before you commit to a sports lighting contractor, you can ask simple questions that assure you that they actually know what they're doing.

Not just:
“How much?”
Not just:
“How soon?”

Ask this, too.

- What is being checked before the install starts?
- Are the existing poles actually suitable?
- Have current light levels been measured?
- What is shaping the design?
- Compliance? Budget? Power? Site constraints? Nearby properties?
- What's included in the warranty, and what's not included?
- How many similar projects like this have you done before, and where are they?

That is where successful sports lighting projects separate themselves from failed ones.

The fittings are only one part of the story. The thinking before they go up matters just as much.

A lot can go wrong when the early questions are rushed.
A lot goes right when the right questions are asked early.

A strong sports lighting result for this hockey club in NT.

FROM INSTALL TO THE FINISHED RESULT.

These images show both the behind-the-scenes work and the completed project.

The system uses 8 folding poles and keeps the setup efficient at 3 lights per pole, while still delivering a comfortable 500 lux average across the venue.

For anyone planning a sports lighting upgrade, this is the kind of detail worth paying attention to. Pole configuration, fixture count, and average lux levels shape the end result far more than most people realise.

This project is a good example of what happens when the lighting design is done properly from the start - built on smart design and practical ex*****on.

That’s where school and college sport is heading.

A college in South Australia recently upgraded its existing ESA setup to our latest Scoring Video Interface (SVI), giving its venue a more connected and flexible game-day experience.

The SVI system includes a range of standard scoring layouts, with the option to create custom layouts depending on the sport or event.

It also gives schools the ability to manage:
• Team logos and player images
• Sponsor and advertising integration
• Media and audio control
• Live score distribution across multiple platforms

School sport has become a much bigger experience for students, parents and the wider community, and technology is playing a huge role in helping schools bring that experience together.
