One network. Every market.

Our REACH UK colleagues take centre stage at PropTech Connect in London on 9 and 10 September - and this time I'm on stage with them.

I'm super excited to be part of the live reverse pitch: 7 top proptech VCs on one stage, pitching founders their thesis and mandate. No pitches, no polished decks - the investors are in the hot seat. Catch it 9 September, 13:15-14:00 on the Peninsula Stage, alongside investors from Zacua Ventures, Pi Labs, PGIM, KOMPAS VC, Fifth Wall and JLL Spark.

Plenty more across the two days:

The REACH Basecamp Bar - home base in the heart of the Main Hall, straight across from the Class of 2026 booths.

Day 1, 4-5pm on the Innovation Stage - the REACH UK Class of 2026 demos and pitches: FlowSpace, Healthy Homes Checklist, HyScore, Rype Office, Senze, Tapi and TaskHer.

Day 2, 2:05-2:45pm on the Arora Main Stage - Louise Donegan moderates "Opportunity Cost, Capital Flows and Fundraising: What Real Estate Must Prove to Win Investment".

If you are in London or near the UK for this, come and listen to my reverse pitch - then drop past Basecamp and tell them the ANZ program sent you.

A strategic plan should do more than fill a roadmap. Over 90 days, it should create evidence that shows what is working, what is gaining traction and what needs to change.

At REACH Australia and New Zealand, we believe strong strategy is built around measurable progress. Rather than trying to move everything at once, real estate technology leaders can focus on a small number of outcomes that have a direct impact on growth.

📈 Customer or revenue growth — Establish a clear starting point and define the improvement you want to achieve.
📲 Product adoption — Look at whether customers are actually using the product or feature that supports the growth strategy.
🌍 Market validation — Test the idea with real customers and industry stakeholders before investing further in the opportunity.

After 90 days, the results should make the next decision clearer. Keep what is working, rethink what isn't and avoid continuing to invest in initiatives that aren't creating measurable progress.

Through intensive, event-based programs and a global network connected by 100 bilateral partnerships across 85 countries, REACH helps founders and real estate technology leaders challenge assumptions, sharpen priorities and turn strategy into action.

The goal isn't to have more initiatives on the roadmap. It's to know which ones are actually moving the business forward.

Which measurable shift would have the biggest impact on your next quarter? 👇

For PropTech founders, building an innovative solution is only half the challenge. The bigger question is: How do you get it in front of the people who can help turn that innovation into real growth?

Getting access to buyers, investors, industry leaders and key decision-makers can take years of relationship-building. REACH Australia and New Zealand helps shorten that path by connecting ambitious founders with the people and opportunities that matter within the real estate ecosystem.

Through an industry-driven programme built around meaningful connections, practical insights and real-world opportunities, REACH helps founders build credibility, open conversations and put their solutions where they can make an impact.

Because the right introduction can become a pilot. The right conversation can become a partnership. And the right connection can change the trajectory of a startup.

🌏 Applications for the 2027 REACH Australia and New Zealand programme are still open.

Scaling into a new market isn't as simple as copying what worked at home.

A strategy that delivers strong results in one country can face very different conditions elsewhere. Regulations may change, customer expectations can shift, buying behaviours may look different, and the partnerships that helped unlock one market may not translate directly into another.

At REACH Australia and New Zealand, we believe successful expansion starts with understanding what makes a strategy transferable—and what needs to change.

Before taking a proven product or process into a new market, it helps to step back and capture the lessons behind the original success.

🧩 What problem did you solve?
Be clear about the customer need and the conditions that made your solution relevant.

📈 What proved it worked?
Identify the evidence that demonstrates genuine adoption, value and impact.

🚧 What could prevent adoption elsewhere?
Consider the regulatory, commercial and operational barriers that may be different in a new market.

🌍 What needs to be localised?
Understand which parts of the product, messaging, partnerships or go-to-market strategy need to evolve.

This kind of market-transfer thinking can help founders avoid assuming that a successful playbook will automatically work everywhere.

With access to a global network spanning 100 bilateral partnerships across 85 countries, REACH provides opportunities to challenge assumptions, learn from different markets and gain perspectives that can strengthen international growth strategies.

Because global expansion isn't about repeating the same playbook. It's about knowing what to take with you—and what needs to change.

How does your organisation capture lessons from one market before taking them into the next? 👇

The right accelerator doesn’t just help you grow. It can change who you grow with. 🚀

For Richie Ragel of Milk Chocolate, REACH Class of 2024, joining the REACH cohort helped validate their vision, place them alongside some of the most forward-thinking companies in the PropTech ecosystem, and open doors that could have taken years to unlock independently.

But perhaps the most valuable part? The relationships didn’t end when the programme did.

As Richie puts it, REACH has built “a genuine community of founders and industry leaders who continue to support each other long after the program ends.”

That’s the kind of opportunity the 2027 REACH Australia and New Zealand programme is designed to create—more than connections, more than mentorship, and more than another line on your startup’s profile.

It’s an opportunity to put your company in the room with the people, ideas and opportunities that can help shape what comes next.

If you’re building a PropTech solution with the ambition to go further, 2027 could be your year to step into the REACH ecosystem. 🌏

An industry event can give you more than a room full of new contacts. If you listen closely, it can reveal where the market is moving, what challenges operators are facing and which conversations could shape your next opportunity.

At REACH Australia and New Zealand, we look beyond the introduction. Every meaningful conversation can provide signals that help founders understand not only who they should connect with, but why that connection matters.

🧭 Understand the challenge — What problem is the operator or business trying to solve?

🌍 Identify the market opportunity — Where is that challenge emerging, and could the same need exist in another market?

🔗 Find the next connection — Who else needs to be part of the conversation to move the opportunity forward?

Connecting those insights across a global network of 100 bilateral partnerships in 85 countries can turn individual event conversations into a much clearer picture of where opportunities may exist.

The result is more than a collection of business cards. It's a stronger foundation for exploring new markets, finding relevant introductions, learning from how challenges differ across regions and building visibility beyond the event itself.

The next time you attend an industry event, listen for the patterns—not just the names. The right conversation could reveal your next market, partnership or growth opportunity.

What is the most valuable connection you've made at a real estate technology event? 👇

What could the next stage of your startup look like? 🚀

Building a great PropTech solution is only the beginning. The real opportunity comes from having the right access, relationships, expertise, and industry exposure to turn that solution into meaningful growth.

That’s what REACH Australia and New Zealand is built to help founders achieve.

The program connects ambitious PropTech companies with the broader real estate ecosystem, creating opportunities to learn directly from industry experts, build relationships with decision-makers and investors, refine their strategy, gain commercial exposure, and explore pathways into new markets.

It’s a hands-on environment designed to help founders move with greater confidence, build credibility, and turn innovation into opportunities that can have a real impact on their business.

Because sometimes, the next stage of growth isn’t about building more. It’s about getting your solution in front of the right people and knowing what to do when the door opens.

Is your team choosing real estate technology because it looks impressive — or because it solves a problem the market genuinely needs to fix? 👀

With new tools, platforms and AI solutions entering the market at pace, it can be easy to get caught up in what's possible. But the strongest technology decisions start somewhere else: with a clearly defined problem and a real understanding of who needs the solution.

At REACH Australia and New Zealand, we believe innovation creates the greatest impact when it connects directly to industry needs.

That means asking the questions that matter before scaling:

🎯 What problem are you actually solving?
Is it a challenge experienced frequently enough that customers and operators are willing to change how they work?

👥 Who needs the solution?
Understanding the decision-maker, end user and buying process is critical to turning a strong product into a commercially viable one.

📈 What does successful adoption look like?
The opportunity isn't simply getting technology into the market. It's creating measurable value that encourages customers to keep using it and creates a pathway for sustainable growth.

Through an intensive, event-based program and a global network spanning 100 bilateral partnerships across 85 countries, REACH Australia and New Zealand gives founders opportunities to test their assumptions, gain industry perspective and build stronger pathways into the real estate market.

Because the best technology isn't necessarily the technology that gets the most attention. It's the technology that solves a problem people are ready to solve.

A smart model is only as valuable as the workflow it can actually support.

One of the biggest challenges with emerging real estate technology isn't proving that the technology works in isolation. It's making sure it can move reliably from data input to decision, action and measurable outcome.

At REACH Australia and New Zealand, we encourage founders to look beyond the product demonstration and examine the entire journey. Where does the data come from? How is it handled? What happens when privacy or compliance requirements come into play? And, most importantly, where does the output go once the technology has done its job?

A solution can look impressive in a demo and still struggle to gain adoption if the final handoff is unclear or disconnected from the way teams actually work.

🤖 AI needs a complete workflow, not just a smart model.
📦 Data needs to move reliably.
🔐 Privacy and compliance need to be considered from the start.
🔄 The final output needs to reach the people and systems that act on it.

When these pieces work together, technology has a much stronger path from innovation to everyday use.

The real test isn't whether the technology looks smart. It's whether it continues to deliver value once it meets the complexity of the real world.

What part of your technology stack has the weakest handoff right now? 👇
